Regulatory Compliance Notice

The Exam Cycle

Sede Electrónica

Access the AESA portal using your digital certificate or Cl@ve. Registration is individual and requires valid pilot training records.

Payment of the official AESA examination fee. Ensure you pay the correct amount for the number of subjects you intend to sit.

ATO Recommendation

Your flight academy must issue the 'Certificado de Finalización de Curso Teórico' before you can register for the official sitting.

Sitting Booking

Once payment is verified, you can select your specific exam dates and locations through the SENASA portal.

Examination Logic

Technical Standards.

Passing Grade75% Minimum score per subject.
Sittings LimitMaximum of 6 sittings to complete all subjects.
Subject AttemptsMaximum of 4 attempts per individual subject.
Time Limit18 months from the first sitting to completion.

Theoretical exams are managed by SENASA on behalf of AESA. Ensure you select the correct center during registration:

Authorized Materials.

Calculators

Only non-programmable calculators are allowed. CASIO FX-82, FX-85, and similar models are standard.

Flight Computers

Mechanical computers like CRP-5, E6B, or Jeppesen CR-3. No electronic flight computers unless specified.

Protractor & Scale

Standard aviation protractors and nautical mile scales for chart work (General Navigation).

Impugnaciones y Revisión.

After the exam, results are usually published within 3 to 7 working days on the AESA Sede Electrónica.

If you believe a question was technically incorrect, you have a limited window (usually 3 working days) to submit an **Impugnación** through the official channels.
